Since the upswing of house prices in 2020, first-time home buyers and those hoping to find a deal on a house they plan to rent have been waiting and hoping for a housing market crash.

After a historic year in 2021 for buyers that continued into early 2022, shifting to benefit sellers, the market is cooling off as the year comes to a close.

As we head deeper into the first quarter of 2023, housing in the U.S. is still short an estimated 4-5 million homes.

Saying that buying a home is a significant life change would be a massive understatement.
